Add your rig

Get your own page in the Garage. You write it, you own it, and you can update it whenever your build changes.

How it works

Every person gets one page in the Garage, written by them. It holds your specs, your measured speeds, your photos, a write-up and, if you like, a video. You keep it up to date yourself.

Option 1: pull request

  1. Fork the site repository on Codeberg.
  2. Copy garage-template/ to content/garage/<your-handle>/.
  3. Edit index.md with your specs and your story. Put your photos in photos/, plus an optional cover.jpg and video-thumb.jpg.
  4. Run scripts/strip-exif.sh on your folder. It removes GPS position and camera data from your photos.
  5. Open a pull request. Later updates work the same way.

Option 2: email

Not into Git? Send your text and photos to the address below and we will set up the page for you. Updates go through the same address.

contact@needforvram.com

Proving it is you

After your page is published, add its link to your X or GitHub bio, or post it from your account, then let us know. Your page then shows “Verified owner”. We only accept one page per person and changes from its owner.

Rules

  • Your own rig only, described honestly. Measured numbers, not vendor claims.
  • Only photos you took or have the right to publish. No faces of other people, no visible addresses or serial numbers.
  • No ads, affiliate links, referral codes or sales pitches.
  • By submitting, you allow needforvram.com to publish your text and photos on this site and to resize them. You keep the copyright and can withdraw the page at any time.

Report a page

If a page breaks these rules, infringes your rights or seems illegal, email the address above with the page link and the reason. We check every report and take down anything clearly unlawful without delay. The page owner is told why.
